UEFA, the European football body, wanted a brand TV campaign raising awareness of the breadth of its role in European football, which ranges from elite events such as the European Championship and the UEFA Cup, to less well-known youth football sponsorships and campaigns against racism. The challenge was to convey this breadth within the pitch winning ‘We care’ positioning, using only authentic footage from UEFA's archives – and to make the 30" and 60" spots relevant to 42 European countries.
